"I love Darn tough socks. Would give 5 stars but recently noticed that the ones with special design added do not weave the threads in at the ankle. They snag my toenails. Ouch. The warranty only provides money back but not replacement and is a bit of a hassle because you must pay postage. If I have wide feet and a high instep and wear size 9.5 should I order a size large? Or a size medium? Thanks

I need help on sizing. I wear an 8.5 or 9 shoe, but the size medium lifestyles socks are a little too small for me. I've never tried the hiking socks. Are the hiking socks bigger, or should I go up a size?
All of our Medium socks stretch to the same size. Since you find the Mediums too small, we recommend going up to the Large.
