"These are gorgeous, but they are unexpectedly warm - too warm for the summer for me - and the material on the bottom of the foot is a fairly coarse weave and doesn't feel good on the bottoms of my feet. I think I prefer the lightweight hikers like the Fastpack, which, weirdly, feel less warm and more breathable to me, even though these have a more open weave."
