The Hiker Micro Crew was not the first sock we ever knit (that was a run sock), but it is by far our most popular. Once their comfort, durability, and fit became a thru-hike staple, we never had to stop knitting them. So, when we had some midweight yarns in overstock – raw material inventory with no future in sight – we figured our best women’s hiking socks were a great place to see if we could use it up before we recycle.
