Don’t trust the size chart!

"They are too big on my feet. According to the size chart, my size 8 1/2- 9 feet wear a women’s size medium, but these are so loose! I hope they shrink when washed, but not sure what to do. The last socks I bought were the women’s no show running socks, and they ran very very small. The size large fit tight and the same style in size large Mens’ fit perfectly on me but too small for my son. See photos. I checked out this same style at a store in the mens’ version for him. Those also appeared much larger as well. What the heck is going on with the summer socks? All of the micro crews I bought for both of us fit perfectly according to the size chart. These lately have all been way too small, or in this case, too big!!! I would love these if they fit right. They seem like they would be perfect for fall and cushy comfortable, but they won’t be if they still bunch up in my shoes after washing like they do when I tried them just now. Do I wash them in hot water if they stay too large and hope for the best? I don’t know what to do."

The sock I was looking for

"I am so excited to share my love of Darn Tough socks with my sister. She said she wanted some good quality socks with a shorter than crew height but not no show. And Darn Tough made them in this beautiful blue that is my sister's favorite color. How more perfect could I get in finding the right sock to fit the bill. I love the durability and comfort of the socks as well as the colors and patterns Darn Tough provides. It kinda has become my go to for Christmas gifts that I know will last."

Does owning five pairs of Darn Tough socks mean I'm obsessed?

"I bought new, lighter colored shoes, so naturally I needed another pair of Darn Tough socks in a coordinating color. Same durability, comfort and , what I prefer, extra cushioning so that my morning walks continue to be comfortable and stylish. This is my fifth pair. Does that constitute an obsession?"

Perfect summer running socks

"Love them! Snug but not constricting in the foot and at the ankle: no slouching or bunching up, no pinching or rubbing. Ankle height is great with summer weather and summer clothes. The cheery electric turquoise color makes me smile. Looking forward to wearing them on the regular."

Love, love, love them!

"I have fallen in love with my new Darn Tough socks! The fit is spot on, and I could not be happier. The colors are perfect; especially the darker color for the bottom. Now I can wear them all over the house without the bottoms getting permanently soiled looking. The height of the sock is just right to wear with my gym shoes. Big thumbs up for this style!"

I actually bought these for

"I actually bought these for my grand daughter but I have many pairs of Darn Toughs as they are so well made, long lasting and comfy. I can wear them several times without washing (probably helps them last longer) and they never have an odor. Love the patterns. My husband and I only wear Darn Tough socks!"

Karen W. (5/5)

Oddly enormous

"Unlike the 7 other pairs of women's large socks I just bought from Darn Tough, these particular women's large are ENORMOUS. There is about 2 inches of extra space in the toe. And if I pull that up, then the heel sits way up behind my ankle. The disparity doesn't make any sense. (I wear a women's 10 shoe and double checked the packaging to make sure I didn't accidentally get a men's sock. Nope. Women's large."

Amazingly comfortable!

"So very comfortable and I love the colors of this limited edition Women’s Quarter Light Hiker. Exceptional design and quality. Another winner from Darn Tough!"

Darn Tough Vermont socks

"I LOVE my new socks! I live in the desert, and my feet sweat, making me uncomfortable and less able to tolerate the heat. My new socks are super comfortable and keep my feet cool and dry, even on days when the temperature exceeds 100°. I have had foot issues for decades, and my feet have never felt better! I wear them every day. They are pretty and match my outfits!"

Joyce (5/5)

I love all the socks

"I love all the socks I purchase from Darn Tough. Maybe because I'm a Vermonter I feel loyal to our local companies but setting that aside, the socks are just very good. They are well made and I love how the Darn Tough stands behind their products. The quarantee on the socks has helped me continue to support them. I have been purchasing and wearing the socks for years. I love the colors, images and quality of the socks. They are comfortable, fit well and the cushion socks are nice and thick and comfy."
