Unrivaled Durability

We make one thing, and we make it better than anyone else – ask any thru hiker and you will likely hear the same. In order to unconditionally guarantee a hiking sock for life, it must be durable. It must maintain its comfort, and it has to fit for miles upon miles on-trail. The socks that do return through warranty inform how we can improve. And we do. Great comfy socks

"My favorite darn tough so far. Very soft and comfortable. Wear all day and then some. Saved my feet on a 14 mile strenuous hike. Just a little tight in the toe box for me but otherwise fine (I have big feet) I may try a women’s large next time instead of medium. I generally wear 9 or 9. 5 sneaker or hiking boot."

I Highly Recommend These Socks!!!

"I love my new Women's Light Hikers 2 Pack! They are cushioned in all the right places whether I'm running errands or trekking through the woods. It is Sprinter (Spring & Winter) here. They keep my feet cool and dry in warmer weather and warm in cooler weather. Plus, there is plenty of room for my toes. These socks are made for comfort."

Happy with them for more than everyday wear

"So far, so good! I’ve work them for work (standing, sitting, walking with sneakers and Crocs). I’ve worn them for casual running around. And I’ve work them with liner socks in my hiking shoes for a weekend hike. I just got new boots that I tested with these socks because I prefer them over the heavier DT hiking socks and I’m hoping to use them this week before an upcoming trip. I like this weight better on my foot because I don’t really like thick heavy fabric in general but it does have its place and sometimes I’m wishing for more cushion so ymmv! I think they are a bit wide in the toe box, especially compared to the lighter weight socks/run socks but I usually find my DTs shrink slightly over the long haul so that’s better than the alternative. If I were buying another brand I’d have gotten S but I always get M because otherwise if I sleep in them my toes or heels hurt in the middle of the night. I have lots of DT socks and just added a few more to the collection because my other brands wore out and I like these more :)"

Loving them so far

"Great quality. Nice and soft and fit well. My work office is freezing and they kept my toes warm all day. Can't wait to try them on a hike and see how they do."

Love the quarter socks

"My son bought me some Darn Tough socks for Christmas and now I'm obsessed. I'm trying all of the different weights and heights. I love how the quarter socks in this Hiker pack fit on my feet. Going to have to get some in other colors!"

Love Darn Tough socks!

"I already have a pair that are quarter height, and although I have other Darn Tough socks, these are my favorite. I've had them for a couple of years, and I wear them all year long lounging at home, while gardening, shopping, camping, and hiking. I got these so that I can give my original pair a rest."

Super comfortable socks

"These socks are very comfortable. I have worn them for late-summer hiking in varied terrain, and they have performed very well. I would highly recommend them, for hiking or just walking the dogs."

Isabel S. (5/5)

Game changer!

"I have tried several other merino wool sock brands, and none have come close to the quality, fit and feel of the Darn Tough Light Hiker. The knit is soft and high quality. There is enough room in the toe region so my toes don't feel confined (my 2nd toe is longer and needs more room). Also, I wore one pair for 3 days without washing and they didn't smell. Some of the other brands immediately start to pill in higher frictions areas, especially the heel. Not these socks! I'm sold and plan to buy more. Thank you Darn Tough for making such a wonderful product! And my feet thank you as well!"
