"Darn Tough is the best, can't beat the quality. Perfect fit for my 10. 5 wide feet. Wanted to upgrade my cotton athletic socks and also match the thickness. "Back in 2018, when I went through U. S. Army Ranger School as a Chilean Army soldier, I was told that if there was one piece of gear worth investing in, it was good socks—and Darn Tough were the go-to socks for getting through Ranger School. So I bought nine pairs. Eight years later, I'm still on active duty in the Chilean Army, and those same nine pairs have followed me through years of training, field exercises, different Army schools, and almost daily use. They have been, without question, one of the most impressive pieces of gear I've ever bought. What amazes me most is that I never wore a hole through the foot of any of them. Even after eight years, they stayed tight and maintained their elasticity. Eventually, a few pairs tore near the top while I was pulling them up, but considering the amount of use and abuse they went through, I honestly couldn't complain. Now I'm back in the U. S. for Army training, and someone reminded me that Darn Tough has a lifetime warranty. After eight years, I decided to try it. The warranty experience was spectacular. I sent my old socks in, the process was incredibly easy, and today I received nine brand-new pairs of the same socks that have served me for the last eight years.
