"Backpacking, SAR, wildlafire doesn't matter these are the best socks ive ever worn and I have fully replaced all of my socks with darntoughs. Ive only been able to wear out 1 pair and ill be sending it in for warranty. I was religious about these socks before I was able to get pro-deals on them and would swear by them still if I didn't have it. If you do hard work outside these are what you need."
"I bought these for my brother, he loves them. The wool content helps keep his feet dry in boots all day, keeping the moisture down makes his socks fit and feel so much better in the heat of summer. Will be buying more."
"My entire life, no matter what kind of shoes I wore in the winter, my feet would be freezing. And I now realize it's because the moisture would not be whisked away — until a few years ago, when I discovered merino wool socks, and then Darn Tough socks. Truly life-changing. I can wear sneakers to work in the middle of winter in New York City, not boots and not be cold, because I'm now wearing the right socks. They're not too hot to be in the office. I'm not cold on the street. It's incredible. They're cushiony. They're not itchy. Having the right socks truly transformed my life. I don't dread long walks anymore, or long hikes, or long anything. Truly remarkable socks. The light version of these socks is probably better for a milder climate, but these are excellent in the middle of winter."
"So far these are by far best socks I’ve ever worn. Look too be durable and are comfortable and stay up pretty well. And not too mention best warranty I’ve ever heard of. Thank you all for a great product"
"As usual these socks are great. Very comfortable, great wicking, and of course they are gorgeous."
"This is my husband’s first pair of Darn Tough socks. He has been hearing me rave about them so I ordered him 3 pair to see what he thinks. His reaction was great. His eyes got wide and he could not believe how comfortable they are! I think there are lots more orders in our future!"
"These are the best socks made. Everyone that hasn't bought a pair should buy one and see what a difference there is between these and literally ANY other brand. I look forward to putting these socks on. Add to that, they support AMERICAN workers and an American company. There is no way to NOT win when you buy these. They're warm, they provide excellent padding, yet they also wick moisture and will leave your feet remarkably dry at the end of a day."
"D arn Tough socks are premium Merino wool wonders that live up to the hype. I’ve worn the Hiker Micro Crew midweight pairs for hikes, work shifts, and daily life—they wick moisture fast, stay odor-free for days, and keep feet comfy in humid summers or freezing winters. Snug arch support prevents slipping, cushioning hits the sweet spot (not too thick), and zero blisters even on long walks. The real magic? Exceptional durability—high-density knit lasts years where budget socks shred quickly. Made in Vermont with a lifetime guarantee: wear through? Free replacement. At $20–$30, they’re pricey upfront but unbeatable value."
"Excellent quality."
