"Since I’ve only received my Darn Tough socks recently I cannot review its long term usage. However, I find the cushioning makes my new shoe comfortable to wear. Also I tried wearing the same socks for days and there is no odor. It is pricey, but if it’ll wear as long as stated, I’d be sold on its lifetime guarantee! (Thus the four star rating because I can’t positively comment of its wearability."

"Spent 30 years in uniform and I've been through a lot of socks. I used to wear the green Dept of the Army issued wool boot socks, then then the black ones and then the coyote brown replacements of all different makes. Are these socks made with 100% wool?
We don't carry any 100% wool socks. A 100% Merino Wool sock would lack durability, and not provide the comfortably snug fit necessary for athletic adventures. When looking at our sock percentages, the Merino Wool is the body of the sock, Lycra Spandex is the bones/structure of the sock and Nylon is the reinforcement and is where the durability comes from.
