"Out of the three different styles I tried- Fred Tuttles, lightweight tactical and the Steely these are my favorite. The Tuttle is similar but the extra cushioning in the Steely makes it the standout. The micro height is just right for 6in boots especially in the coming warmer months. Are these socks good to wear with any shoe or are they just for steel toe boots: Hi Todd, the steely style can be comfortably worn with any style of footwear. The toe box has extended cushion for extra protection and comfort.
