Feet wearing work socks, the best socks for work boots because they thermoregulate

Thermoregulation for Any Climate, Any Job

The wrong combination of work sock and work boot does not go unnoticed. We produce socks with a high-density knit that make them virtually indestructible, knit with three simple ingredients of Merino Wool, Nylon, and Lycra®, making them the most versatile socks for all environments. Wool has a natural crimp that creates pockets of insulation, while also venting the moisture it absorbs to leave you feeling dry. You stay warm while avoiding sweaty feet and remain cool through natural venting. Wool is amazing.

Best socks money can buy

"These along with all DarnTough socks are the best socks you can buy! When I first bought a pair I was sticker shocked. Then I realized with the warranty they are socks for life! Over the last ten years I have returned under the warranty four pairs. Each time I received a brand new pair. All I paid for is shipping the worn pair to you. Darn Tough pays the shipping for the replacement socks."

— Ellen P. (5/5)

Game changer

"As someone who is slowly replacing all my socks with Darn Tough, I have to say this might be my favorite pair so far. I realize they're made with steel toe work boots in mind, but the extra padding wrapping all the way around the front of the foot is a game changer at the gym. The extra thickness protects my toes during functional fitness movements and the length protects by ankles when climbing ropes. Hands down the best."

— Brent F. (5/5)

Awesome socks

Just enough!

"I have only worn my micro-crew Steely socks for one 12-hr shift so far. However, they were very comfortable. I am also happy to report they are just tall enough to peek over the top of my 8-inch boots. I wear at US Men's 10. 5 and order size Large socks."

— B. B. (5/5)

Amazing comfy work socks!

"I am on my feet all day on concrete working in manufacturing and these socks feel great and hold up really well day in and day out at work. I love the length with my work boots. Definitely recommend for anyone putting in a lot of hours in work boots."

— Michael R. (5/5)

its good

"the socks are fine. your foot and socks will stick get sweaty so air them out when youre done. extra padding in the toe box might make the fitting too tight so you have to go wide."

— joe (3/5)

— victor d. (5/5)

Q&A

Are these socks good to wear with any shoe or are they just for steel toe boots: Hi Todd, the steely style can be comfortably worn with any style of footwear. The toe box has extended cushion for extra protection and comfort.
I'm just a hair over a US size 12. What size should fit best.: Hi James, Given the snug performance knit of our socks folks tend to size up for comfort. You might best enjoy the XL size.
How many socks come in a pack?: Our socks are sold as single pairs unless they are in a multi-pack such as our Men's Steely Boot Sock 3-Pack
