"I bought these after reading an article about the best socks for runners. These didn't disappoint! They feel comfortable when running, breathe well, and keep my feet cool! They also stay in place and don't slide down on the back of the heel like other socks. You don't need to wash them after each use because the merino wool material resists odors and is so quick drying. (I tested it: they truly do not keep odors even after three runs in Florida heat and humidity!)"

More like darn fragile

"Unfortunately, durability has been a major issue. I’ve had multiple pairs develop holes after less than 50 miles, particularly around the toes and along the sides of the socks. For a premium running sock with Darn Tough’s reputation for durability, this is really disappointing. I would happily keep buying these if they lasted longer because the fit and performance are excellent, but having holes develop in multiple pairs in under 50 miles makes them difficult to recommend."

"I am very happy with my new lightweight running socks. I really like the fit, comfort, and overall design. I have found that DT’s merino wool socks hold up extremely well over time and do not develop fabric “pills. ” I also make sure to air dry them, which I believe helps maintain their quality. For this pair, I really like the fabric's weight. I have other pairs that are much lighter, but I actually prefer this one. The design is excellent as well — keep ’em coming! "The fit, feel, and material of these sox are great!!! They actually stay on my heel, (no slip offs!!) as i am walking, running, or anything I'm doing. My feet usually get sweaty in the summer, but the marino wool in these help my feet stay dry and comfortable. There is no trouble navigating the website, and delivery is in a timely matter. Have never had any problems with Darn Tough sox, but I'm sure that customer service is as great as the sox!!!"

White color smaller

"I love these socks but the white ones are definitely cut smaller than the other colors. I just purchased 2 pairs ( 1 white & 1 blue)and the cut is the same as the last 2 pairs I bought with the white being smaller. I buy the men’s because they do not have XL in women’s."

Q&A

Should I size up or down? Im a size 12 which is right on the line for sizing. I tend to wash and dry my socks so they might shrink a bit. The large range from size 10-12. A size 10 sock would be way too tight for me. Since I’m a solid size 12, should I go for the XL?
