"These are the same style I’ve been wearing for work over the last 8yrs. As a firefighter in southern California, I wore these on both the structure calls and the wildland fire calls. They are thick and feel good on my feet without being excessively hot as I am usually wearing them in warm/hot weather. They stay up over the calf and are excellent at wicking moisture away. One of my favorite things about these is that they consistently have almost zero odor! No matter what I put them through. I once had my boots on for 56 hours straight in the worst summertime heat and they exceeded all my expectations. Keep up the good work!"

Q&A

What is the difference between the heavy weight mountaineering and the heavy weight hunting sock? My scout needs them for overnight winter camping. They'll be spending may hours standing around in freeze conditions but also going show shoeing. Thank you, Jessica
Hi Jessica, our Hunter OTC features a slightly higher merino wool content (79%) designed to provide maximum warmth during long periods of idle activity while hunting. In comparison, our Mountaineering styles feature slightly less wool (73%) and more nylon with the goal of providing more flexibility for movement.
