"thought the navy was black my mistake. also mistook the material for wool whoops at least i ordered others that were wool. thick socks waiting for winter for testing. smells like a factory made product(not bad); the smell took time to wear off but that seemed to overpower any odor for at least two to three days out of package."

"I have two pair of the full cushion heavyweight boot socks (mil-spec). I thought these would be more like those, only different colors. My mistake, the mil-spec seem next level. I much prefer the mil-spec socks for any kind of hiking. Most of my socks are the micro crew hikers, full cushion. I do like these better. Still these are darn good socks, I plan to buy more."
