My Men’s Hiker Micro Crew Midweight and Men’s Hiker Boot Midweight have been my go‑to comfort solution for most situations. But a few of my dress lace‑up boots apparently have “opinions,” and those midweights were just a bit too snug for their liking. Enter the Men’s Light Hiker Boot Lightweight Hiking Socks — the unexpected hero of my sock drawer. They slid right in, fit perfectly, and delivered the same reliable comfort without the squeeze. Even in summer heat, they stayed cool, comfortable, and fully functional. I do have one minor issue: My non‑Darn Tough socks (the ones I can’t seem to throw away) have begun seeking legal counsel for abandonment. I expect a strongly worded letter any day now. "I love these! Ordered the XL and they fit really well on my feet wearing a 13 wide. I'm a tall guy at 6'6" and these hit me about mid-calf. Just enough cushion to pad things out, and the thinner portion on top of the foot really helps keep things cool. Per the usual, Darn Tough is knocking it out of the park on quality; sturdy construction, comfortable materials, and a focus on making the socks both functional and with good appearance.
