"The very first pair of Darn Tough socks I ever bought started to wear very thin near the heal -- and Darn Tough made good on their warranty, even though technically, those socks hadn't worn through yet. Since Darn Tough doesn't even make those anymore (I guess the wearing through was a design problem) these were the closest in design to those -- similar color palate (I love purple and teal together) and the padding is a nice bonus for keeping my feet comfy."
