"I paid 52 dollars for socks way to big. How do I get them exchanged for a size smaller? In picture of hiking sock, sock extends over an inch. The black sock is the hunter midweight version and I thought they were XXL's. The fit is perfect. I used 2 pair for the PCT last year and they are still going."

Q&A

What sock would you recommend for sports activities like basketball or baseball?
We would recommend the Men's Element Micro Crew socks which will be the closest to a typical gym or sports sock, and I would recommend the Men's Westerner if you're looking for an over the calf style. These will be the closest to Basketball and Baseball styles and available in unisex sizing!
I have a size 9.5 hiking Boots and my size L is really tight ,should I go to Xl ?
We would recommend going with a more relaxed style as opposed to a larger size, which will mainly change the fit from heel to toe. Our Tactical styles offer a lot of stretch, and so do the socks knit with Twisted Yarn, which you can find by searching "Twisted yarn" in our search bar!
I recently bought a pair of these hiker crew mid weight socks. I had very high hopes based reviews and friends’ recommendations. Essentially, they do not fit right. I wear a 11 W mens hiking boot and sneaker, 10 1/2 W dress shoe. I bought a size L based on your chart. They are fine in the toe and heel, but tight and bunched on top of my ankle. I have worn them 3 times hiking and they not comfortable. Expensive socks ought to be the favorites. Not so much. What to do?
