Perfect for Summer Hiking
"These are perfect socks for summer hiking. They're just tall enough to be above the top of my hiking boots, and they stay in place beautifully. Comfort is great!"

"Perfect for a long hike. The midweight wool socks protect my feet from chaffing and blisters, while keeping them cool in the summer’s heat. Fun colors that make hiking even more fun."
"Expensive socks but worth the investment. I love the seamless toe, the cushioning along the bottom of the foot, and cute design & pattern options. For hiking boots, I prefer the merino wool socks in the midweight category with "cushion" (like this one) much better than the lightweight style without cushion."
"Have always loved my Darn Tough socks and wear them daily. Unfortunately, this pair was odd. Very wide toe box. Wide enough for an extra toe! Bunched up uncomfortably inside my shoe. Fabric seemed the same as what I like. But will need to return due to poor fit. Really hope this isn't a new styling trend for Darn Tough! Also, sizing seems off. Last photo shows this sock and the 1967 style, both Ladies S but very different lenghts."
"I have been a wool-sock lover for decades now. I have permanently cold toes thanks to Raynauds Syndrome so warm socks are a must! I've tried socks from Smartwool, Rei, Costco brand, etc, and Darn Tough wins hands down in all seasons. My oldest Darn Toughs are ~5 years old and most pairs still going strong. The elastic has given out on the top of a couple of pairs where they slide down vs sitting snug on my calf, and Darn Tough's amazing warranty and customer service will replace them. Despite many years of biking, hiking, walking, and traveling, none of these socks have holes! My only note of caution - if you are hand-washing these on a trip to wear the next day, they don't always dry overnight due to the thicker padding. I'll be getting some lighter weight versions for bike + backpacking so they will dry faster under unusual outdoor conditions haha."
"Awesome products from a company that stands by their products."
"Slate color is prettier than the picture. I love the micro crew with cushion socks for daily wear. I usually buy midweight but I’m trying the lightweight for an upcoming trip to Europe in spring. Darn tough has the best customer service of any company I’ve worked with."
"I bought several pairs of Darn Tough socks for myself and as Christmas presents. That was my first experience with the product, and everyone who received them loved them. I do a lot of walking and I bought the running socks for myself. They are comfortable, cushioned and absolutely do not slide down into my shoes. They do not require daily washing. The socks I bought for others were the midweight hikers which they wear with work boots all day. I buy these friends socks every year, and these have been the most well liked yet. I recently bought several more pairs for myself and as birthday presents because I liked them so much."
