Great no show sock for summer!

"Well, these are amazing. . . stay on/stay hidden and comfortable. They will be my "travel" sock - we are city-centric travelers and walk a lot - my favorite shoes are Finn Comfort and I had been using the "no show" lightweight running socks but let's be honest, they show. These will offer the merino e/comfort and will be invisible - I'm anxious to give them a full work-out on our next NYC trip. BTW: I ordered the medium as that was what the sizing chart indicated but had to size up - and that was an effortless chore - Darn Tough is an example of what a retail company should be. 5 stars,"

Straight Garbage.

"I'm glad you asked because I've been looking for a reason to tell you: these socks are straight garbage. I bought them. The next day I got ready for work, and last thing before I leave the house, I put on my socks and loafers. The socks didn't even make it to the car. The heel fell down. It was an all-day issue. Every five steps I'm stopping and pulling my brand new socks back up. It was annoying to the point of annoying other people near me. I thought, "Hey, I'll give 'em a chance. I'll wash them and try them again. Maybe they're not great straight out of the package. " Yeah, that didn't make any difference. Straight under the heel again, all freakin' day. I hate them. I hate them a lot. Then, embarrassingly, I remembered I'd done the same maybe a year ago. . . ?? I'd bought other no-show socks from Darn Tough, and they too were awful. I did find a way to get them to stay on: I wore them under a pair of crew socks (from Falke). The Falke sock kept them in place. How stupid is that? You have to wear other socks over these socks just to get them to stay on! Ridiculous. This seems like a resolvable issue. I doubt I'll find out though. I can't imagine dropping this much money for socks that ruin my day again. If there were zero stars as an option, that seems more appropriate. One star is too much star-power for socks that can't manage to stay on feet."

"These will be good for their purpose, but not for mine. I needed a little more even coverage along the bottom, and they kept shifting, causing a painful "seam line" under the edge of my outside sole.
