Sometimes conditions call for a good penguin slide. Either way, conditions always call for a good toasty pair of winter socks. Our midweight with cushion is a safe bet when the flippers are sliding into anything from a rental boot to whatever they're slogging to the car in. Merino Wool is softer than you might think and it's a good choice if you're going to stand over an egg during the winter.
Machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle with socks inside-out. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low or hang dry. Do not dry clean. You can learn more about how to wash merino wool socks here.

"I bought several pairs of the hunting weight socks at the recommendation of a friend. This included gifts Pais for my daughters and families for a snow trip to New Mexico. Temps were from 5 degrees in the morning and evenings to 20-25 degrees in the daytime. They performed very well during snowy hike and cold sleigh rides. No one ever complained of cold or uncomfortable feet. Next trip was ice fishing in Colorado. Temps ranged from -5 to + 25. Four days on the ice and no cold feet! Highly recommend these socks! Plan to invest in lighter weight for cool weather."

"She wears them to school, they keep her warm in the classroom, at recess and warm for an afterschool visit to the beach with family and dogs!"
