"I used these socks at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. 40+ miles on horseback over 5 days naturally in cowboy boots and blue jeans. These over-the-calf-length socks provided comfort and protection from the seams of my jeans rubbing against my calves. The extra cushion and wool material combined to keep my feet dry in spite of pretty impressive heat. What's more, the socks did not seem to retain any foot odor at all. Between the horseback riding and additional hiking (sans cowboy boots), we easily surpassed the 50 miles to obtain the so-named award. Twelve days total, three pairs of socks, and comfy, healthy feet."

"I’m really loving these socks! The design is so pretty and the colors are not too bright, but still beautiful! I don’t ski or snowboard, but I love how these fit. They keep my feet and legs warm and also regulate the temperature so that I don’t overheat. I love the cushion as well. My feet are getting more sensitive to pressure and these help give me some cushion while allowing my feet to breathe a bit. They are fitted and give me light compression like many people have mentioned. If these are things that you are looking for, I would highly recommend these socks. I love Darn Tough socks and I definitely want to get more!"
